Clinical trials systematically test procedures and medications

Every day, research uncovers new information about medical conditions and possible therapies. Your involvement in clinical studies may speed development of new medications that benefit you, your loved ones and many others.

A clinical study, also known as a trial, is carefully designed to test the effects of a medication, medical treatment or device in a group of volunteers. Clinical studies are an important step in making new medications available; they measure a drug's ability to treat a condition, its safety and its possible side effects.

Volunteers needed

During a Triad Dermatology clinical study, patients see doctors and nurses frequently. Physical examinations and medications are normally provided at no cost. Patients may be compensated for travel and other expenses.
