Reduce facial wrinkles
Years of squinting and frowning may leave deep wrinkles between
the eyebrows, on the bridge of the nose, across the forehead
and at the corners of the eyes.
Triad Dermatology has two different
treatments for this type of problem:
- Synergy light-energy
treatments
- Botox treatment
Synergy treatments treat a variety of problems
If you have multiple conditions you'd like resolved, Triad Dermatology's
multipurpose synergy treatments may be right for you. Synergy
Treatments can lessen wrinkles, redness and sunspots, plus revlieve
sun damage, dilated capillaries and rosacea-with no downtime. While
removing these unwanted effects of aging, synergy treatments
can also stimulate the production of new collagen, which lessens
scars, shrinks dilated pores, tightens loose skin and give your
complexion a smooth, clear appearance.
What to expect
Synergy treatments combine gentle pulses of light with low electrical
enery and instant cooling. These preisely controlled bursts
can be used anywhere on the body and won't damage surround tissue. Each
microsecond pulse feels like a slight tingle or, at most, a quick
pinch.
Your skin will look healthier immediately. Spots and broken
capillaries will start to fade within a week. Most people
experience no side effect, though a few exhibit short-term local
rddening of the skin. You may reach your desired goals
in just one session or in several sessions spaced three to four
weeks apart.

Fast, easy Botox treatment
Triad Dermatology can remedy these problems through injections
of botulinum toxin-or Botox. Very thin amounts of Botox
block nerve ginals from the brain to the muscle. As a result,
the muscle relaxes, easing wrinkles. Since the muscle can't
contract, lines gradually smooth out and no new wrinkles are
created. Botox doesn't affect the eyebrow muscles, so patients
don't lose their natural expression.
What to expect
The acutal treatment takes just a few minutes with no downtime
afterward. Patients see the effect in three to seven days. The
effect gradually fades and muscle action returns in three to
four months. With repeated treatments, the muscle may thin,
producing longer-lasting results.
Botox therapy may be combined with chemical peels, laser resurfacing
and wrinkle fillers for optimal results. Botox is less
useful for smile lines around the mouth because the muscles in
this area are needed for eating and talking.
